PRIVACY PRACTICES
gutChek is committed to protecting the privacy of your protected health information and/or test results. This includes physical hair samples and test results as well as the invoices for the testing services we provide. gutChek collects information from your hair sample and stores it electronically on a computer. This is your testing record. The testing record is the property of gutChek, but the information in the testing record belongs to you. The physical hair sample used to create the testing record is disposed of and/or destroyed within 10 days of testing the sample and is only used for the purpose of creating the test record for the following: food intolerances, nutrition and toxins report. How does gutChek work? Simple!
With a small sample of hair, as little as 10 to 15 hairs (more if you like :) We can identify your intolerances, nutrients and toxins.
Is a food intolerance different from a food allergy? Yes.
It's important to note that a food intolerance is a digestive system response, as opposed to an allergy that is an immune system response. Intolerances occur when a specific food irritates your system or creates a digestive upset, typically when a person is unable to properly digest, absorb, or break down, that food.

How long do you keep my hair sample for?
The testing facility, safely disposed of your sample within 10 days of testing.

Is there an age requirement for children?
Typically, age 6 and older.
Are there any additional fees? No
Everything you need for your gutChek is included: the Premium gutChek test and includes 3 digestive reports: intolerances, nutrients and toxins. The Basic test provides a list of foods that may be causing symptoms.
What if I’m bald? No, problem
We can analyze hair from your head or your body. No need to elaborate :)
How does this test differ from a blood test?
Our tests are less invasive and considerably less expensive when compared to blood tests. With blood testing, the food you’ve eaten in the last 24 to 48 hours can affect the results. The information in the hair however is stored, and we believe it provides a better capture of data for accuracy. We believe this is the highest quality non-IgE scientific food sensitivity test on the market.
What is Bioresonance?
Bioresonance therapy is a complementary medicine using a device that captures and diagnoses electromagnetic signals coming from the body. Developed in the 1970’s by a team of medical doctors and biophysicists, these devices are in regular use in over 26 different countries. Hair testing but what else? Bio-resonance is also used in sports medicine. A number of Olympic and professional sports teams now utilize bioresonance therapists. The Russian space program uses bioresonance technology because it enables a convenient and non-invasive way to monitor and enhance the health of their cosmonauts. Health Centres in Sweden and Germany have bioresonance machines. Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands and the UK, have the highest concentration of bioresonance therapists.
